Carter and Kasen

They have had so much energy this week and Chris has been so involved studying for finals! Kasen has been saying the darndest things!!! In the past few days he has had quite the attitude and been fiesty! He isn't taking any guff from any of us! He does the "rasperry" to Carter and us if we get after him about anything, needless to say he has spent a lot of time in timeout! He has started biting too and believe it or not it is a great way for him to put Carter in his place, I have to contain myself from laughing when those two start going after eachother! Kasen's new phrase this week is "you are not my master, I am my own master", I am not even exagerating, he said this exact phrase to me the other day as he scrunched up his face and used a tone! I was astonished!!! Where did you learn that??? He said, "my teachers", so I asked his nursery leaders just for fun, what they have been teaching this crazy kid!!! He cracks me up! Then today in church he was laying on my lap during sacrament and reached up and loudly said "Mommy you have a boogey, hold still, let me get it!!!" Over and over again as I am hushing him and trying to keep his fingers out of my nose! He REFUSES to go potty in the toilet! He knows what it is for and he knows when he is going, he just WON'T do it!!! "I don't want to"!
Carter has been really good and not many new things from him! He did go on a scout outing with Chris this past weekend and it was 20 degrees with the wind chill factor only 10 degrees! He was very brave and didn't complain! When he came home he did tell me he needs to go back to Arizona where it is warm or not go outside anymore until it gets "sweaty"! He is eating up his time with Daddy! They are best buds and Chris is such an excellent father to these two!!! They adore their Dad and want to spend every minute with them, Kasen is still a Mommy's boy, but is getting more attatched to his Dad everyday! We have much to be greatful for and love being a family!
