On Wednesday we went to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. They gave us an awesome discount 2 days for the price of one, and kids were free with the military discount! It was a cute little amusement park. They were the strictest amusement park I have ever been to and had all old people running it which is unusual to see! You couldn't lift your hands off the bars on the rides even. Carter could only ride 4 of the rides, Kasen could only ride 3 of the rides and they weren't that great of rides anyway, so if you are going for a theme park experience stick to Disney, or Knoebel's. I was impressed with the fact that they are a very religious theme park, they talked about Christ, read scriptures in the Frosty show, sang and played religious songs for the tree light display. They also had a parade and Santa was the first float, which is unusual, but a the end of the parade they had a nativity, I was so impressed!!! Chris and I switched off taking the boys on the rides they could go on and Chris said people were taking pictures of him as he tried to fit in the rides with Kasen (they wouldn't let Kasen go on anything without an adult!) I wished I would have gotten a picture of that! As you can see I barely fit in the caterpillar ride as it is! Kasen loved them and wanted to go on them over and over again! Chris was such a good sport!
