We had a really fun time on Chris's last Spring Break of his life!!! Since this is his last year of "school". This summer we start to enter "real life". For our entire married lives we have always had a Christmas Break and a Spring Break, sometimes it stinks to "grow up"!
Our first stop was in Pella, Iowa (where they hold the Tulip festival in May we hope to go to this year!) There is this delicious dutch bakery called Jaarsma that Lori Haxton told us about that we were able to stop and enjoy, it is one of their family traditions.
Then we were off to the Wisconsin Dells to swim, swim, swim!
We had a lot of fun and got an incredible deal. The hotel we stayed in gave us free tickets to the Mt. Olympus water park across the street the whole time we were there and a free breakfast every morning. It was called Skyline Hotel. I was a little worried at first because it is a family owned hotel, but it was clean, had a good size room and a really fun indoor pool. Along with the swimming was an indoor amusement park as well that we got free access to too! the boys had a blast, and the dells would be awesome in the summer when the outdoor parts are open too! We really had a fun time! It is a town full of indoor and outdoor water parks, arcades, and amusement parks. We went to the movies, slept in, relaxed, swam, and went bowling. Then we drove over to Milwaukee and met Chris's cousin Seth and his wife Chrissy! It was fun tot see them and go to dinner with them. We did some shopping and then headed home through Illinois.
