This year we decided to do something different and go to a cabin and play in the snow! It was so much fun! We rented a cabin in Christopher Creek, AZ. Nana and Bri, Dan and Jeni's family, us and my Mom all went! Poor Bri's truck got stuck in a ditch just as we were turning to get to the cabin, so they spent a good hour and a half trying to get it out with hot water and ashes from the cabin, as a last resort Chris even had to pee on the tire to melt the slushy ice, we were pretty desperate! It was getting dark and the truck had all of our stuff in it we had to get it out of the ditch!
We got all the party food ready and had a great time with Dan and Jeni's Kareoke machine and playing games as we rang in 2010! The boys had fun upstairs playing football and wrestling too! We always go outside and have a toast with our sparkling cider!
New Years Day we sledded down the road right behind he cabin and had snowball fights and made snowman. Then we warmed up next to the toasty fire and watched a movie! Happy New Year!
