We went to Oregon for Talia and Rio's wedding and had a great time! (Talia is Chris's half sister.) What a wonderful time we had! We got to stay in a bed and breakfast, it was our first time staying at one of these. It was really roomy and felt like you were staying at someone's home. Every morning they would leave a basket of food in our room for breakfast and we would sit out on the porch after we ran and enjoy the beautiful scenery and breakfast! Ashland is beautiful and we loved seeing the deer around town. Here is a picture of one I ran after to catch!
Here is a picture of the Rogue Creamery, where they make delicious cheeses and have one 1st in the nation for their blue cheese. It really was delicious.
Here is a blue cheese truffle, I had to try it and it was ok, kind of weird though!
Here is Chris and Katelynn, behind them is where they make the cheese, they had some of the best cheese curds too!
Next door was a little chocolate factory with delicious chocolates
Their handmade chocolates that are all different kinds of unique flavors.
Yes this really is chocolate covered bacon and it tasted just like it sounds!
We brought it back for the boys for fun.
This is a painting done in chocolate, interesting huh!
Here is the back, a solid chocolate canvas.
Then we headed down to the Red Wood Forest. We just LOVED the scenery, isn't beautiful! It was even chilly it felt so good!
Someday I want to live in an area that looks like this!
Here is Katelynnn and I at the Red Wood Forest, isn't that tree HUGE!

Katelynn, what a doll! She sure enjoyed her stroller ride through the Red Woods.
Then we drove along the Oregon Coast. Isn't it beautiful!
This trip to Oregon was Katelynn's 1st plane ride and trip to the beach!
Here she is with her feet in the sand!

What a beautiful drive it was! As we were heading back to Ashland the GPS leading the way, it took us on this crazy 1 lane road around a mountain, and this patch of snow was on the side of the road. It isn't every day you see the ocean and an hour later snow too!
We only had a quarter of a tank and our 1 hour "short cut" took 3 hours on crazy switch backs! We made it back safely though! We were so lucky we made it to the gas station!
Friday night they had a taco truck come to their house and they had live music! I can't remember his name, but he was great.
It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious!
We got to see family and meet their friends

After the ceremony, they had a cocktail hour while they took pictures, then we all sat down for an amazing dinner! The steak was the best I have ever had! Instead of a huge wedding cake everyone had thier own and this is what they looked like! It was really cute! We were sat with Rio's Uncle and his wife that were super nice and his brother who married them and Rio's recording artists.
(Rio is making a movie)
I wasn't able to take pictures so I will post the link of their photographer when I can.
I did sneak one of Talia dancing with her Dad so Grandma Squires
could see it since she couldn't be there.

Katelynn was at babysitting and was pretty mad at me when we picked her up after the festivities. She only wanted her daddy. Katelynn got attached to her Dad this trip it was so cute this picture is priceless!
The next moning they had a wonderful brunch and here is Katelynn

What a wonderful time we had! Ashland has delicious, unique, gourmet resturants that Chuck and Tika so generously took us too! Things like that just don't exist in Mesa, we
just have chains that don't compare! So thank you again for everything!
