Another favorite tradition is making goodies with my Mom to deliver to friends and neighbors

The famous carmelita bars, lemon bars, and brownies! Yum!

Katelynn enjoying the goodies!
Such a girl! She has all the beads we put on the Christmas tree draped around her neck!

Service! It is always so fun to do service around the holidays!
One of the things we got to do was ring the bell for the salvation army in front of Wal-Mart as we song Christmas carols with the ward missionaries.

Mom and Katelynn she loved the bell too

Then we got to help with the Christmas angels at school the
kids had fun picking out gifts to give them.

We also took Grandpa Bruce out to dinner and helped him put up his Christmas tree!

Another tradition, of course, is going to Bass Pro Shops to play with toys and see Santa!
Katelynn was not going to have any of that! Kasen was so brave this year and Carter did great as always! Carter asked for Madden 11 (a football wii game) and Kasen asked for "Car Crash" poor Santa said oh that is not something to ask for are you sure you want that?! (It is a racetrack that the cars crash into each other!)

Then the ward Christmas Party this year was traditions around the world and Cafe Rumba a Hawaiian place catered it was yummy!

Then with my Dad and Keith and Coleen we go to the Mesa, AZ temple lights! My Dad helps with all the set-up and electrical every year and spends countless hours down there! He gets VIP parking so that is always nice! He also points out all the cool new things they try like laser lights that make the huge tall trees look like they have thousands of lights but it really is just 2 lasers shining on the trees!

Carter has been begging to go ice skating.  He loved the time we went in Chicago in the outdoors it was amazing! We had a lot of fun this time too even though it was indoors! They let our family in free of charge to thank us for our service to the military, isn't that so nice!
