Koko Head Hike

I have always wanted to hike this and Carter needed a hike to pass off a goal in scouts so we woke up at 5am so we could watch the sunrise, it was cool, foggy and rainy, but I was determined to go, so
with our umbrellas we started on the steep trail!
 Me, Carter and Kasen
Just starting! These are the steps! It was muddy and they were slippery! What a beautiful view!
These pictures do not give a good perception of the steepness of this!
Just below Carter, was the scariest part of it, it is a cliff with train tracks built over it! I was so scared and felt horrible I was making my boys carefully climb over it they could have fallen many feet.  (little did I know till we were coming back a nice local shared with us the short cut that goes
around and isn't dangerous!
 Gorgeous views!
View of Hanauma Bay

Kasen was amazing he climbed it and beat Carter and I to the top! Not a single complaint!
 A beautiful rainbow!
Kasen at the top! The clouds and fog hid our sunrise.

 Beautiful Mountains!

(Carter has a sweat ring to prove how hard this hike is!)
Poor thing threw up on the way home, I guess I worked him too much.
