I love to collect nativities and it is my goal to collect them from all over the world, this one I found in the little airport as we were lxtapa, Mexico on a fun trip to
Club Med with Chuck, Tika, Talia and Bri in 2006. The baby Jesus is a piece of rice!

This one is hand carved Olive wood from
Bethlehem my dad got for me on his Church History Tour Trip!
This one is my Hawaiian or Polynesian one I got handmade from a sister at the PCC in Hawaii 2009 made out of coconut husk, and a shell for the manger that holds baby Jesus.

For Christmas this year the boys wanted new basketball shoes for their basketball season and of course Kate had to have some!
Kasen tried on every pair they had in his size, he jumps, runs and tests every shoe out! The employees were cracking up how serious he was about his shoes. Also before we went he had to put on all his gear so everyone knew that he was a good basketball player!
Carter is in the men's size (9 1/2) so instead of the kid price of $65
we had to pay the adult price of $140

the end with a tool and twists the melted glass
Rolling it in the color they picked

From this stage we blow through a straw connected to a tube to create the round shape!
