Chris was able to come to Hopkinsville, Kentucky to do a 6 week rotation with Dr. Stitt who did his residency at Tripler as well many years ago, and he is kind enough to help the residents get in even more surgeries and one on one training with him! He treats them like royalty and let's them come to his lake house and out to dinner with his family, just the kindest man.
Here's a view from the boat of his lake house!
The fun jet skis
Chris loved it!
Watching the sunset from the boat
Chris's view of the lake in the hot tub!
Here is the Grand Ole Opry he took his mom to for Mother's Day. They got to see some of their favorites Larry Gatlin, Charlie Daniels and Carrie Underwood.
Chris called me and we were talking and he said how about you coming over here to see this, I really think you would like it and I they have offered me a position in their practice in the future.... plus I have Memorial Day Weekend off and we are going to the lake. So I looked around for a flight and got one so Jake could pick me up we would hang out for the day and then she would fly home that night and I would drive back. My flight was $767 and off I went. I flew out at 3 so just enough time to finish our Mother's Day program in Relief Society come home and head on to my flight. I met the kindest people on my flight out here, and was so tired because it was a red eye and I just couldn't sleep on the plane.
I wasn't in love with it at first site I was very skeptical, Chris does this too me every time (Missouri for Med school, Hawaii for Residency, etc...) Then he ends up hating it and so I was just going make darn sure this is really where we are supposed to be! I have absolutely fallen in love with the people! They are incredibly nice and so kind! We were privilged to meet so many while we were here and they treat you like family! We had a wondeful time and delicious food!
